Create & Connect - African Drumming

Gasworks is presenting Create & Connect (C&C), a new creative proposal where to develop an artistic skill with a big group of individuals, in an outdoor environment. A fun and engaging way to bring people together, create memorable experiences, and generate a sense of community at the beautiful Gasworks Arts Park. Through C&C Gasworks will promote community building, creativity and expression, social connections, stress relief and joining, artistic expressions in public spaces, inclusivity, and diversity, and building team and spirit.

Saturday 7 December - African Drumming.
Session: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm approx. 3 x 30-minute sessions with 10-minute breaks between sessions.

African Drumming’s New Mindfulness and Well-being sessions focus on reconnecting through team building, meditation, singing and storytelling. The activity will relieve stress, focus the mind, and encourage cooperation and teamwork among the participants to rebuild confidence and creativity.
