Australia's largest destination film festival returns to the beautiful South West region of Western Australia from 31 August to 8 September. Enjoy more than 200 feature and short film screenings and special events at cinemas, wineries, small bars, boutique breweries and galleries, in Augusta, Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River.

Meet some of Australia's best filmmakers and talent at the red carpet premieres, after parties and In Conversation dining events ahead of the Film Prize Celebration where Australia's richest $100000 Film Prize will be awarded at a glittering cocktail event. Also celebrate Indigenous culture and storytelling the free Deadly Days; enjoy free films at the Community Screenings; see our young filmmakers of the future as part of the Cinesnaps Short Film Competition; and be inspired by visiting international and national filmmakers as part of the Industry Program.

This year four dramatically different films are in the running to win Australia's richest Film Prize, including the hilarious new comedy Runt, written by WA's Craig Silvey, directed by John Sheedy and starring Celeste Barber, Jai Courtney and Jack Thompson; the thought-provoking, Indigenous horror The Moogai by director Jon Bell and starring Shari Sebbens and Meyne Wyatt; along with two films from the Melbourne International Film Festival -the animated drama Memoir of a Snail (MIFF@CinefestOZ) by Oscar winning director Adam Elliot and featuring the voices of Sarah Snook, Eric Bana and Jackie Weaver and, dark comedy Audrey, by director Natalie Bailey with New Zealand's comedy queen Jackie van Beek, Jeremy Lindsay Taylor and disability rights advocate Hannah Diviney.
