In a gloriously unabashed Antipodean drawl, Watty Thompson explores themes of inward and outward love, togetherness, and a desire to strive and live beyond the material. It’s affirming, joyous and inspiring, all played out against a background of rollicking country flavoured Australiana folk. The indie bush bard from the Otways in South-West Victoria, Watty Thompson is touring to celebrate his brand new single ‘Rock & Roll’. After his barnstorming debut album was released last year, Watty has been quietly working toward his next opus. Gathering up the multi-limbed talents of his Total Fire Band, Watty headed into the studio to capture some more of his patented heart on sleeve messages of self-belief, the first fruit of those efforts is ‘Rock & Roll’.

The Watty Thompson ‘Rock & Roll Tour’ comes to Mo’s Desert Clubhouse for a matinee show on Saturday September 7th. Doors at 12pm.

Watty and his Total Fire Band will be joined by special guests Demi Casha and Jumpin Jack William.
