We salute THE BIG FOUR titans of thrash metal with a massive night of live tributes to Metallica - Slayer - Megadeth and Anthrax at Amplifier Bar in Perth on Saturday 14 September.
On 16 June 2010 at Sonisphere Festival at Bemowo Airport in Warsaw, Poland, thrash metal legends Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax played together for the very first time as “THE BIG FOUR”, going on to feature at multiple Sonisphere and The Big 4 Festivals in Europe, UK and USA in 2010 and 2011.
The most well-known performance of THE BIG FOUR took place at Sonisphere Festival in Sophia, Bulgaria on June 22, 2010, which was broadcast live via satellite to movie screens around the world, and subsequent DVD “The Big 4 – Live From Sophia, Bulgaria” was released worldwide for metal fans to enjoy to this day.
In tribute to THE BIG FOUR and their historic performances, a gathering of Perth’s finest metal tributes takes place at Amplifier Bar in Perth, to raise the horns and re-live an epic chapter in metal history!
