Perth Folk and Roots Club is back at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club on Sunday 25th August 2024 for a show with free music entertainment with the support of Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club. Perth Folk and Roots Club is also working with Act Belong Commit in recognition of music’s contribution to mental wellbeing. The performances are from 6pm to 9pm at the Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, 1 Stancliffe Street, Mount Lawley which is an hour later than usual to accommodate the Inglewood Bowling Club Carnival. For this event, Perth Folk and Roots Club has Espresso and Gus McKay. Espresso feature Fran Irwin on acoustic guitar and vocals, Pat Irwin on lead guitar and harmonies, Jason Grobbelaar on bass and Glenn Fitzpatrick on cajon delivering upbeat originals and covers. Gus McKay is an original songwriter and guitarist who started with Punk and has gravitated to his own style of blues and rock music with six album releases with the latest being “Sixth Wind “.
