Are you up for the challenge? Registrations are open for Victoria’s annual premier 24 hour Milsim event, ONE24, to be held across November 23rd and 24th.

This is an over-night combat simulation laser skirmish event taking place at our Rowallan field (1 hour drive from Melbourne), where players must complete an evolving set of objectives set against the backdrop of a wider fictional conflict.

Players will camp in the field with their team, and work together to ensure mission success! With play rolling through both day and night, ONE24 promises to provide an exciting and immersive, one of a kind experience.

Since 2009, the Victorian Laser Skirmish Association (VLSA) has been creating exciting combat simulation laser skirmish events with a focus on Milsim style game play.

WHO CAN PLAY?
Anyone over the age of 18 can register for an event however VLSA games can be physically intense and require a moderate level of fitness. ONE24 will necessitate that players carry their own weighted tagger, as well as all their own water and food. Gameplay will see players navigating through bushland of varying levels of density, having covered multiple kilometers by events end.

You do not need to have a group organised to register for an event! New players will be assigned a detachment, led by an experienced member and you will work within this group for the deployment. The VLSA prides itself on being an organisation of inclusion that fosters a sense of community amongst its members. No matter your experience or background, as long as you’re willing to give it a go, we encourage you to register.

We approach our games with an attitude of “serious fun”. Players are expected to work within their team and role, while listening to instructions from leadership.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Players are required to bring enough supplies, clothing and shelter for the full 24 hour period suited for a hiking style camping trip. Gear must be easily transported, set up and packed down. Once gameplay starts, simple access to vehicles will not be possible until the event ends. Long pants and shirts are recommended to protect the skin, browns and greens work best. Wear some sturdy footwear, hiking shoes/boots/good sneakers. Players will also need to carry at least a litre of water on their person at all times.

$100 - Existing Member + Tagger Hire
$90 - Existing Member + BYO Tagger
