ISLAND OF THE GODS Book Launch... and Unofficial Writers Fest Closing Party!

Daniel Salfield has been a community radio presenter on BayFM for 25 years and grew up in Byron Bay. His parents formed the Byron Community School and whether he likes it or not, the alternative lifestyle of the North Coast has been the pool he has always swum in. His third novel "Island Of the Gods" is fictional and loosely occupies the crime thriller genre but also could quite happily sit on the shelves of satire and black comedy as it is the new age world of Bali's expats and the quite extreme practices of a spiritual narcissist that make up the backbone of the book's narrative.

Described by bestselling fantasy author Kim Falconer as “Agatha Christie meets Yoga Bitch in this whirlwind satire on modern-day gurus and those attracted to them. Comedic, for sure, but be ready. Salfield lures you into a holiday wonderland where any sudden move could make the knife cut too close to the bone. Outstanding read! Namaste.”

With live performances by Matt Boylan Smith and Versace Boys. "Sp;iritual Trivia" with prizes by Afends and Skin Divinity. Bookings essential.
