The 4th Chinese Traditional Cultural Festival (CTCF2024) is making its grand return to Melbourne on the 21st and 22nd of September at Fed Square!

This year’s festival promises an even more captivating experience with an array of spectacular performances on the main stage of Fed Square. Enjoy a delightful range of Chinese dance and music performances, lion and dragon dance, and various displays of Chinese musical instruments.

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the vibrant market in the main square will feature traditional costumes, including the elegant Chinese Hanfu, accessories, and cultural handicrafts. Chinese food and snacks will also be available this year! Our highlighted food street is packed with traditional Mid-Autumn Festival cuisine, such as mooncakes, alongside a variety of other speciality Chinese treats. Swing by to get a bite and celebrate this special occasion with us.

Everyone in Melbourne is invited to join in the hands-on activities celebrating intangible cultural heritage, such as pitch pot, calligraphy, and DIY lantern crafting. Families with children will also have a fantastic time with a full range of specially tailored cultural activities, such as traditional games and art workshops to spark their creativity and curiosity about Chinese traditions.

CTCF2024 is proudly presented by Gapper Aus, The Australian Chinese Dance Association (ACDA), The Federation of Chinese Associations (VIC) Inc. The Youth Association of the Federation of Chinese Associations and Macro Vision. CTCF2024 is proudly supported by the Victoria State Government and Fed Square.

We look forward to welcoming you to CTCF2024 at Fed Square!
