Caravan Safety Program

In partnership with the Queensland Government, Caravanning Queensland’s popular VANSafe program is expanding to the Queensland outback with its first stop in Dalby Tourist Park on Tuesday August 20.

Open to all owners of caravans, campers and motorhomes, VANSafe will educate and support recreational vehicle (RV) owners with the information they need to tow confidently, safely and compliantly – helping to create safer roads throughout the outback Queensland.

The FREE VANSafe program offers local residents and tourists a unique educative program focussing on essential safe towing practices, proper loading, weight distribution, and compliance with regulations to empower all attendees with the knowledge to embark on their next road trip safely and with confidence.

In addition to safety workshops and displays, the event will feature free Weight and Towing Masterclasses covering weight distribution, correct loading, towing tips and tricks as well as an open Q&A format.

The Masterclass is taking place at Dalby Tourist Park on Tuesday 20 August between 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
