Glenfiddich, the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, has unveiled a masterpiece paying homage to Japanese culture - the first Single Malt Scotch Whisky finished in Okinawa’s rare ex-Awamori cask, Grand Yozakura. This exceptional release is a limited-edition fusion celebrates the exquisite flavors of Scotland and Japan, with only 315 bottles available in Australia.

Honouring Hanami, the cherished "cherry blossom festival" of Japan, and the release of this rare whisky, Glenfiddich is inviting Sydney and Melbourne whisky aficionados to be a part of this exclusive celebration of culture and craftsmanship.

From next week (October), iconic venues across Sydney and Melbourne will transport guests with a beautiful collision of cultures and flavours, crafted around the incredible whisky. With bespoke dish pairings, specially-made cocktails and whisky flights, there is a way for all to experience the magic of Grand Yozakura.

• Ante, Newtown - from Oct 5th: Sydney's renowned bar presents a Japanese-inspired sticky date pudding paired with 29-year-old Grand Yozakura whisky at $195. Also, try the Grand Yozakura-inspired cocktail for $24.

• Society, Collin St, Melbourne - from Oct 10th: Melbourne's lavish dining hub hosts an exclusive pairing experience featuring the Glenfiddich Grand Series Collection. Led by Glenfiddich's Ross Blainey, guests can savour a range of culinary delights paired with Glenfiddich expressions, exclusively at Society.

• Atrium Bar, Crown Melbourne - from Oct 4th: The sophisticated lounge offers a 30ml Grand Yozakura serve and the $30 "Berry Blossom" cocktail, crafted with Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, Chambord, and a Cherry Rosemary Shrub for a delightful contrast to the whisky's flavours.
