That’s Amore Cheese is bringing a taste of Puglia to Melbourne this spring with the Apericena Puglia Dinner on Tuesday 19th September.

Guests will gather at That’s Amore’s Cheesery in Thomastown and kick off the evening with fresh mozzarella handmade by Giorgio Linguanti and a glass of wine before being treated to a delicious four-course regional dinner. The menu will feature cherries, burrata, baby octopus and caciocavallo, tantalising tastebuds in true Pugliese style.

Each course will be perfectly complemented with wines from Menhir Salento Winery, supplied by Vino Bambino, while Giusi Giracello has travelled from Puglia to tell the story of the origin and process behind them. The family-owned winery is located in the heart of Minervino de Lecca, in the south east area of the Puglia region. The Menhir Salento wines are produced using native grapes of Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello and more.

The shared style seating and convivial Italian atmosphere of the dinner will allow for new friendships to be made and, for those who enjoyed the That’s Amore Cheese virtual sessions, this is a must-do event!

The Apericena Puglia Dinner is an exciting way for Melburnians to get a taste of Italy this spring.
