Kevin Bennett, well-respected indigenous singer/songwriter with Sydney roots band The Flood, writes contemporary Australian music telling stories of where he’s from…KB sings his life. KB has been part of Bennett, Bowtell and Urquhart, a harmonious, alt-country trio which received both Best Group and Alternative Album Gold Guitars at the 2017 awards and Vocal Collaboration in 2019. Kevin Bennett and The Flood’s latest offering, ‘Blood Red Ties’ won the 2020 Gold Guitar for Best Group and is concerned with family, roots, country and ALL the ties that bind.
