Every year, millions of people celebrate Persian New Year, or Nowruz (pronounced “no-rooz”). In Persian speaking countries, the new year begins with the advent of spring, and everyone celebrates the new year by putting up a Haft Seen Table, buying presents, and wishing for good luck in the year ahead.

Nowruz marks the end of the old year and the beginning of a new one, and it occurs on the day of the vernal equinox. The United Nations formally recognized Nowruz as an international holiday in 2010. The ceremonies surrounding Nowruz centre on community, family, and a deep respect for tradition.

We are waiting to see you again in the fourth Newroz Yara Market, Sydney, a few steps to Nowroz

All profits from the income of Nowruz market of Yara Foundation will be used to support the education of underprivileged children in Iran.
