On the 11th of September 2020, the great legend Toots Hibbert earned his wings and fly away to Zion. Before Toots departed this life he completed his last studio album “Got to Be Tough”.

Toots died due to complications from COVID -19. After his death, the album won the Grammy Award for the Best Reggae Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

On September 11th, 2021 a massive line-up of Melbourne artists and DJs will participate in a tribute to this great legend.

Toots has been to Melbourne a couple of times and he has left behind a massive fan base in Burn City. We will all come together to honor the great man, the man who gave Reggae its name, some say he was the first person to record a reggae song.

Sweet & Dandy featuring: Luke Yeoward & The Nebari All-Stars, Ska Vendors, Jhonny Longshot, Miss Goldie, Mohair Slim, Rick Howe, Fabulous Fez, Stick Mareebo
