A 22-year-old man was found dead in his tent at UK’s V Festival over the weekend.
Timothy Brockhurst was found unresponsive at around 1am on Sunday at the Staffordshire event. Security were alerted, he was given emergency aid and the area was sectioned off for forensics.
BBC News reported that Police are treating the death as “unexplained but not suspicious.” An autopsy will take place some time this week.
Ch Insp Carl Ratcliffe told BBC: "We will be preparing a report for Her Majesty's coroner who has already been informed about this incident and we are working to support those affected by this incident."
Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man was found dead in the back garden at a house party near the festival site in Essex on Sunday. He was found beaten to death before police were called to the scene around midnight. Ten men have since been arrested.
V Festival 2012 saw The Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Example and Ed Sheeran perform. Nicki Minaj was also set to headline but cancelled, citing vocal issues.
