Touring off the back of heir latest album Fallen Empires, Snow Patrol have announced an Australian leg with exclusive acoustic showcases in both Sydney and Melbourne.
With a career that has seen Snow Patrol sell over 12 million albums to date, with singles such as 'Run', 'Chocolate' and 'Chasing Cars', the band feel that Fallen Empires is a career defining album.
‘This feels like a proper record to me,’” said singer Gary Lightbody. “A grown up record, but a fun record. I’ve always wanted to make an album that could rank with the ones that inspire me, and hopefully this one will.”
The exclusive shows are said to be an intimate experience, taking place in Melbourne’s Regent Theatre on Sunday September 30 and Sydney’s State Theatre on Monday October 1.
Critics are unanimous in their praise of Snow Patrols live show, and the one off acoustic showcases are expected to sell out fast. Pre-sale tickets available to Frontier members on Monday July 16 and general public on Thursday July 19.
