Organisers of this weekend's Splendour In The Grass festival in Byron Bay have announced that outspoken Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has been added to a discussion forum.
The forum entitled Wil Does Parky is being held at 4pm on Saturday. The Gruen Transfer’s Wil Anderson will host the Michael Parkinson-style chat with guests including federal Independent MP Rob Oakeshott, Occupy Australia’s Carl Scrase, Twitter journalist Asher Wolf, and now, rock icon Corgan.
It's one of nine fora taking place across the three-day festival, covering a mixed bag of topics from musically-apt debates about rock gods, songwriting and music videos to broader social questions about sustainability and the internet's role in democracy.
