A very special day for ANZAC Cottage falls on February 12, 2022. This day marks 106 years since the Cottage was constructed. As a very special treat the Friends of ANZAC Cottage is honoured to welcome Laura Gray JP, M.ICOMOS, experienced heritage and conservation consultant known as Heritage Intelligence (WA)who will lead a tour and talk that will explain the heritage aspects and issues that challenged the renovations of the building over thirty years ago.
ANZAC Cottage, at 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn, will be open from 1.30 to 4.00 pm with Laura’s tour and talk beginning at 2.30 pm.
Entry to the Cottage is by donation and afternoon tea, soft drinks and ice-creams are available for a gold coin donation. And yes! There will be anniversary cake!
